Nancy Thomas

My name is Nancy Thomas and I am thrilled to be teaching fourth grade with Mrs. Jones. I taught first, fourth and fifth grades in Virginia. Among my gifts is the ability to differentiate instruction for the students. I love learning what each child’s interests are and tailoring instruction to those interests. I also love to make learning real and provide many cooperative learning opportunities in my class. Communication with families is very important to me and you will find I provide needed information consistently and encourage conversations and emails.

I don’t feel new to Hendricks as I have completed two long term substituting opportunities, one in first grade and the other in fourth grade. I love Hendricks and am so excited to be a part of the Hendricks family! I am looking forward to meeting my students and their families!
